The origin of the exhibition is inherently inclusive. Last year, Naples held the 300th anniversary ceremony of the founding of the Chinese Academy. At that time, Yao Zhuoyuan, as the event venue designer, thought to himself: Why not take this opportunity to hold an event to promote cultural exchange between China and Europe? So, Yao Zhuoyuan, a young curator from Quzhou, Zhejiang, and his classmates Wang Hongjie, Kang Yifan, and others began planning exhibitions.

To Yao Zhuoyuan's surprise, the event received support and welcome from many artists. On April 13th, a total of 45 works by young artists from China, Italy, the United Kingdom, and other regions were exhibited, including works by Professor Letiga Carenzo of Politecnico di Milano, Professor Minto of the School of Citizen Art and Information, and renowned Italian artist Mawei Franco, as well as works by Chen Yuelun, Chun Ren, Lei Shuman Li Zihan、 Works by artists such as Qu Yinzhe, Wang Hongjie, Jie Qianhui, Xu Yunhe, Zhao Yuchu, and Zhou Jing. They jointly ignited a new spark of exchange and dialogue between Chinese and Western civilizations in this former university with a history of three hundred years and the earliest research on Eastern culture in Europe.

The exhibition, with the theme of "inheritance", explores how traditional culture can be revitalized in the contemporary context against the backdrop of rapid development in modern society. Artists respond to the times and connect cultures through various media such as easel painting, visual art, and digital illustration. For example, Professor Letiga Carenzo of Politecnico di Milano loves Wang Ximeng's "Thousand Miles of Mountains and Rivers". When creating, he incorporated the green landscape scenery from "Thousand Miles of Mountains and Rivers" into his watercolor paintings, which are deeply loved by the audience. The exhibition is quite popular in the local area, with overseas Chinese, Italians, foreign tour groups, Chinese students, and others coming to visit.
